A blog post is just a fancy name for a page with some stuff on it, that you “publish” on a date.

Then all your blog posts get displayed in date-order on the blog posts page.

They can contain anything that can go on any other kind of page (like galleries, maps, contact forms, images, etc) and they can be about whatever you want them to be about.

You can use them as individual portfolios of images from a photo shoot, you can write stories, share your thoughts. Anything you want.
